Music can have a profound impact on our lives. At Shriners Hospitals for Children – Honolulu, the recreational therapy team is using music to help patients heal. It’s common to see groups of toddlers playing a game of hot potato or teens swimming in the therapy pool – all to the sound of music
The Honolulu Shriners Hospital has partnered with Make ’em Smile, an organization that empowers musicians to aid in the healing process of those facing difficult challenges….
Patients benefit from the joy of music, but the staff, parents, and volunteers gain as well. Make ’em Smile brings a smile to people’s faces, while lifting their spirits.
