ALOHA MAKE ‘EM SMILE!! FAMILY,
Our names are Allan Poki,Willie Aki,Jesse Garcia, and we are the musicians from the group
HAWAIIAN HEAVYWEIGHTS (HVYW8S). we would like to take this time to say thank you to Seymour Kazimirski and everyone
that has anything and everything to do with the MAKE ‘EM SMILE!! program.
It’s been a blessing for the HVYW8S every time we go out and play for the kids and the adults.
It make you think about life and never take it for granted, and count your blessing. When the HVYW8S
go out and play music for parties and other functions, I always try to remember to let the people know
about the MAKE ‘EM SMILE program and what it’s all about, and if, at sometime in our lives, we think
that we have problems, I let them know to come out for a day and join the MAKE ‘EM SMILE!! team.
When they do, I know by the time they leave the hospital, the problems they thought they had is nothing compared to
what these kid and adults have to go through during the holidays,
the birthdays,picnics,family outings. I can keep going on and on and on, so if at times we think we got
problems, check out MAKE ‘EM SMILE. I promise you will leave with a smile.
